While I continually scout for new bands, new talent and new singers to bring you the very best musicians possible to Old Cal Coffee in San Marcos, let’s not forget about the ones that I have already chosen. Case in point…. Two of Us plus One, a 50′s, 60′s & 70′s soft classic rock band with a Willie Nelson Tribute theme stole the show last night! This band has been playing at Old Cal Coffee for a couple of years now and they are better than ever! Last nights performance was the best I’ve ever seen! Not only was every seat in the house taken, we were left with standing room only. You could hear the crowds delight as they cheered on every song that Jennifer, Fred and Craig sang. The cool part was, everyone knew every song that they played and many, including myself, were signing along with them.

While most of my night was spent taking care of the customers, you could hear the delight from the crowd after every song. With the band playing outside on the patio and me working the food, coffee & dessert bar inside, the only way I can tell how well they are doing is by the roar of the crowd… and let me tell you, the crowd was loud last night. A special thank you is owed to the band, as they can get a gig at any venue they want and would probably make more money too, but they keep coming back to support the best local coffee shop in San Diego, Old California Coffee House & Eatery in San Marcos Ca. Thank You again! Any venue would be proud to have them on their billing. They obviously love what they do and they love playing to a lively crowd. At the end of the night, the crowd was happy, the tip jar was full and I can’t wait to have them back! We Love you Two of Us Plus One!
