At Old California Coffee House & Eatery in San Marcos Ca, we’ve become quite famous for having the Best Chai Tea Latte in San Diego because we’ve been making our Chai Tea from scratch for years. 

While on one hand, I’m a big fan of chocolate powders and flavored syrups in my espresso drinks, just not in my tea. One of the main reason’s we’ve become so famous for our Chai Tea is because the flavor our our Chai Tea actually tasts like tea & it is not too sweet like all the other companies out there. A Chai Tea Latte should taste like Tea with a hint of cinnimon & spices. Chai Tea is not supposed to be so sweet, that it tastes like a dessert drink.

Another reason we’ve become so famous for our Chai Tea Latte’s is because Ally, our Lead Barista is in charge of making the Chai Tea. It is a labor of love as it takes all day to make in a BIG 10 Quart Kettle. We use two kinds of tea, cloves, ginger, cinnamon and other spices to make our secret recipe for our famous chai tea latte. You’ll find our Chai Tea Latte and other amazing teas served daily at Old california Coffee House & Eatery in San Marcos Ca.
