On April 4th, 2012, I received an email from Alicia who was looking for a venue where the section 1 youth SoCal church group could perform in North County San Diego. Alicia came across our website online, read all the reviews about Old California Coffee House & Eatery and determined that Old California Coffee House & Eatery was the perfect venue to perform their recital.

There aren’t many available dates to play at Old California Coffee House and when I said she could share in a night where I already had a band booked, she was thrilled. We agreed that April 28th, 2012 would be the date. To our surprise, Alicia and her youth group were so appreciative, they presented Old Cal Coffee with an award for service to their organization. It was one of the nicest gestures we’ve received.. Thank You Alicia. That was not necessary, but we really do appreciate you and we are happy to give young people an opportunity to perform in front of a live audience.
